evnchn's hub of NiceGUI work, in four acts. 2023 spark: a first NiceGUI weekend hack at HKUST ISD, a GPA-fraction lookup tool. 2024 use: FireEye (the Year-4 FYP), Scaffluent, the homelab dashboard, and the Cathay and BNP hackathon wins, all built on NiceGUI. 2025 contribute: merged and open PRs into zauberzeug/nicegui, including ui.skip_link for keyboard accessibility, Markdown content negotiation so AI agents can read NiceGUI pages, parallel-pytest support, and a forensic SemLock multiprocessing fix. 2026 stretch: rendering NiceGUI somewhere other than a browser, the core idea behind nicegui-tui (Textual over SSH), nicegui-wire (Socket.IO wire client driving framebuffers and an ESP32-S3), and nicegui-llm-bridge (an LLM as the frontend), plus nicegui-themes, awesome-nicegui, a nicegui-skill rig for AI subagents, a full-screen Vue embed, a 3D-print control surface, and the pre-alpha nicegui-perf extension. One path-routed server, brutalist by design.
